Watch Syfy’s ‘The Expanse’ Now!

The Expanse
Two night premiere begins on December 14th

Not going to let a bunch of words get in between you and watching this.  This is James S.A. Corey’s Expanse book series done up for television, and by all indications it’s going to be epic!

If you’re a regular Fanboy Planet reader, you’ll remember my review of the first episode from our San Diego Comic-Con 2015 coverage earlier this year. I’ve been counting the days until I’d have an opportunity to see it again, but Syfy just did a little time manipulation and December 14th comes… TODAY!  Check out the full episode right here right now!

We still have a bit to look forward to on December 14th when SyFy will follow this episode along with the 2nd episode on the 15th.

Here’s a bit more, directly from James S.A. Corey.

Two Night Premiere
Starts December 14th at 10|9c on Syfy

A special message from James S. A. Corey, author of The Expanse series

The conventional wisdom in The Expanse book writing team is that you can’t make a good book unless both writers are working on the same project. Not the same outline, though that helps too. No, you have to have the same vision of what the final product looks like. Because once you share that vision, conflict is always solved through the simple math of “best idea wins.”

We’re five books into The Expanse series, and this version of collaboration has served us pretty well. But, then we’ve never done a launch like this…

Two amazing writers for the show, Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (the team that did Iron Man and Children of Men), share our vision for what a modern science fiction story could be, only they actually knew how to make a scripted show out of it.

The Expanse books are near and dear to us both. The series is a decade-plus long project that we’ve put our hearts and minds into.

And you can watch it here now or on Syfy December 14th at 10|9c!
