Another week, another big bag of books. Marvel released three Ultimate Universe books. It’s hard to tell which one counts as the ultimate Ultimate. Skybound continued another Universal Monster, and DC declared this the Summer of Supergirl. I’m for it.
In the meantime, I’m also trying to glean information about comics creator Mark Spears. The work speaks for itself, perhaps, and Midknight Man #1 turned out to be a good impulse buy for me at House of Secrets. And as I mentioned, if you haven’t listened to Jeff May’s “Jeff Has Cool Friends” podcast (or one of his other podcasts), it may be time.
