Normally, I’d go through the books I bought (and sometimes read) this week at House of Secrets in Burbank. Last Sunday I went to meet Daniel Kibblesmith at Golden Apple Comics in Hollywood. He graciously signed my copy of So You’ve Been Bitten by a Radioactive Spider, but before that I wandered the shop a bit. It’s only polite.
There I picked up three books that I’d missed the week before. Each a bit off the beaten path, and each a challenging read. That’s a good thing.
