With My True Fairytale, filmmaker D. Mitry turned a personal tragedy into the inspiration for his first feature film. Currently streaming at Cinequest, My True Fairytale debuts in theaters and on demand in April, giving this realistic fantasy a wider audience. D. Mitry sat down with Derek Wednesday night to talk about the film, its past, and its future.
