Once again, Warner Brothers gets it. It took a couple of years, but they get it. It’s still special to be in Hall H, no doubt, but go ahead and release the trailer to the public afterward. In this case, Kong: Skull Island, the update to King Kong that will eventually lead to a crossover with Godzilla.
I’m really glad that Legendary Pictures stopped pretending it was somehow not going to involve Kong. Though it’s also going to add a little confusion between this film and the upcoming Kong of Skull Island book coming from BOOM! Studios. Maybe Joe DeVito has a case after all.
However, John Goodman looks good. Enjoy.
