Dynamite Kickstarting Darkwing Duck Collections!

Dynamite kickstarting Darkwing Duck collections

Let’s get dangerous!

By dangerous, I just mean playing with Dynamite. Dynamite Comics recently revived the fabled “Terror That Flaps in the Night,” Darkwing Duck. They also got the rights to reprint all of the character’s comics stories, from both Disney Comics and Marvel’s short-lived Disney Afternoon book. On June 4, Dynamite will kickstart it all in 3 volumes, and it looks like you’ll be able to choose which format fits best for your shelf (or eReader).

Crossing pulp heroes like The Shadow and Doc Savage with the denizens of Duckburg, Darkwing Duck is a quirky concept whose time has come again. Disney produced 91 episodes of creator Tad Stones’ vision, all with legendary voice actor Jim Cummings as Darkwing Duck. Dynamite has recently exploded with spin-offs like Justice Ducks and Negaduck. All of the comics will be collected and available through the Kickstarter campaign — which includes a facsimile edition of Darkwing Duck #1 from 1991.

Sign up now so you’re ready to join DD flapping in the night. Terror is strictly optional.
