Monday Night Football got a whole bunch of new viewers this evening when Disney bought commercial time where many a fanboy reluctantly treads. A new trailer chock full of new Star Wars goodness.
With very little footage from prior trailers and a few eye-opening revelations (or so we think) two and a half minutes of new Star Wars footage comes and goes all too quickly.
Still, this is all relatively well-crafted and spoiler free, and has only increased our anxious fannish nature.
Christmas can’t come soon enough!
(We do have to admit there’s a certain fannish appeal to the irony of Disney owning the ABC network and essentially paying itself to run a trailer. Especially when many fans would literally pay to see that same trailer.)
