Leah McKendrick’s Scrambled Trailer

Leah McKendrick's Scrambled trailer

Arriving in the Fanboy Planet email today was this trailer for an unconventional romcom from Lionsgate. Not the usual thing to run on Fanboy Planet, except I did a slight double-take at the header: Leah McKendrick’s Scrambled. Fanboy Planeteers may remember McKendrick from writing, directing, and starring in a short film portraying the rise of Batman villain Poison Ivy. From the interview we did then, it was clear she had the chops for a feature. Congratulations, Leah!

A side note: I know it won’t work for everybody, but Leah McKendrick proves that you can take your career into your own hands. She’s a triple threat, and probably really a quadruple threat. (I don’t know that she sings, but if anyone can create their own movie musical, it will be her.) So dream, but work hard to make that dream come true.

Scrambled arrives in theaters on February 2, 2024.
