Thanks to an invitation from director Robert Michael Ryan and publicist Sean Decker, I made my way over to the red carpet premiere of Popeye the Slayer Man last night. Aside from the chance to meet Ryan and Jason Stephens face to face, it was a fun evening feeling that excitement of cast and crew getting to hear public reaction for the first time. Plus hearing that banger of a theme song booming through a theater — nice!
