After many false starts, the movie adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s parody novel from Quirk Press is finally lurching inexorably toward cinemas from Focus Films. And it looks… fun. The novel made the screenwriter/incipient director’s reputation, and he adapted the screenplay himself. So among fandom, a lot is riding on this — because if it’s witty, fun, and still a little scary, we might breathe a little easier about The Flash.
