As Heroic Signatures and Titan Comics rolled into The Battle of the Black Stone, we got a nifty side adventure in Savage Sword of Conan. We may rightfully love the barbarian, but Robert E. Howard’s puritan swordsman Solomon Kane holds a special place in my heart. Writer/artist Patrick Zircher (Savage Avengers, Moon Knight) set Kane up to join Conan in the recent crossover, and it was so good, Zircher gets to tell another tale.
Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring #1 lands in comic shops March 26, 2025.
The press release describes it as
Kane battles from the Barbary Coast; across Southern Europe, to the canals of Venice, as a band of rogues forms around him in their quest for the fabled Serpent Ring of Set!
I describe it as a good-looking comic I can’t wait to read. Zircher, sometimes called Patch, has been knocking around the industry for years, and always knocks it out of the park.
