SDCC 2022: Disney Brings The Multiverse Of Burgers

The Multiverse of Burgers

Sometimes just showing up at Comic-Con feels like sliding through the Multiverse. But Disney makes it official this year by taking over what we’re now calling the “Gaslamp Diagonal,” next to the Omni Hotel. Celebrating the home video releases of three powerhouse movies, the studio will be offering up games, activities, and if you time it right, burgers. Not sure what kind of burger they’ll be making to celebrate The Bob’s Burgers Movie, but the daily “Patty Hour” (while supplies last) should hit the spot.

If Pizza Poppa is more your style, they’ll have a game related to that, though not likely we’ll actually see Bruce Campbell hosting it. Marvel will, however, be connecting this outdoor activation with their booth inside for a Multiverse of Madness scavenger hunt.

Should you bring the kids, they have a Sunday matinee in Room 6BCDF of Lightyear. Traditionally, Sunday is “Kids’ Day,” and for this return of Comic-Con after two years, that’s kind of a nice way to acknowledge and celebrate it.

From Disney:

In celebration of the Digital and Blu-ray™/DVD releases of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, 20th Century Studios’ The Bob’s Burgers Movie and Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear, an exciting range of activities are set to take place at Comic-Con International in San Diego, presented by Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution.

Fans of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and The Bob’s Burgers Movie can enjoy themed, interactive experiences at the Gaslamp Diagonal, including immersive photo ops, games that are sure to “pack a punch” and complimentary burgers that will “get the patty started.”

Plus, in anticipation of the forthcoming Lightyear home entertainment release, a special family screening of the film will take place on Sunday.
