This Is Halloween, Man

This is Halloween Man

Half-man, half-zombie, all-hero: this is Halloween Man. Drew Edwards, the creator behind this long-running character, has recently shifted his catalog to GlobalComix.com. That’s not the best part. Most of over 20 years of Halloween Man stories are free to read on this new digital comics platform.

FREE. That’s no trick; it’s a treat.

Don’t take my word for it. Check it out, and see who has collaborated and endorsed Edwards’ work: Nicola Scott, Gail Simone, David Baldeon, and more. Solomon Hitch, Halloween Man’s mortal identity, has crossed over with many other titles while establishing his own universe.

To celebrate this transition to a new platform, Drew Edwards and I sat down a few weeks ago to talk about the book’s history, and where it’s about to be going. One thing’s for sure. If you’ve never read Halloween Man, now is the time. And you’ll be glad you did.

If you need a quick description, it’s best in Drew’s own words from his website:

Halloween Man is the weird adventures of an undead superhero and his sexy mad scientist girlfriend. Throughout its 22-year history, Halloween Man Comics has strived to bring you the best artistic talent indie comics can offer.

Fanboy Planet is not affiliated with GlobalComix.com. This is strictly a public service announcement that the platform — and the business model — looks terrific.
