7-year-old Drew Edwards read the first issue of Crisis on Infinite Earths and had his mind blown. Decades later, he’s built his own comics universe with Halloween Man, and it’s time to threaten it with destruction just like DC (and later Marvel and later DC and later DC and later DC then Marvel again) did. How much cosmic epic can fit in a first issue? Lots.
Drew and I talked about Halloween Man: Entropy last week. All the back issues that build to the story — though it’s a good read on its own — are currently free on GlobalComix.com. Entropy releases on October 18, part of GlobalComix’s 13 Days of Halloween. Watch the interview, then get the comic, because as I’ve told Drew, reading Halloween Man means you’re seeing tomorrow’s superstar artists today. Jason Wilson is no exception, as adept with little moments as he is big ones. That’s not even counting the dinosaur.
