The Girl Called Cthulhu gets a trailer

During Comic-Con, Titan Comics announced Minky Woodcock: The Girl Called Cthulhu coming in October. Creator Cynthia Von Buhler’s third mini-series mixing historical events with sensuality and detective work, the book brings in H.P. Lovecraft and Aleister Crowley to cross paths with Minky. It looks fun, and I have it on authority from Hard Case Crime creative director Charles Ardai that it is!

THE PLUCKY DETECTIVE RETURNS WITH AN OCCULT HORROR TWIST!

Sensational artist, author, and playwright, CYNTHIA VON BUHLER melds her glorious illustrations with the eldritch elements of HP LOVECRAFT and ALEISTER CROWLEY.

Inspired by a true WWII maritime operation, shocking satanic events, monstrous men, and one salacious sea creature, this third series tells the tale of Minky’s encounter with legendary horror writer H.P. LOVECRAFT, creator of the dreaded CTHULHU.
