SDCC 2025: Ordinary Joy with Kim-Joy

Ordinary Joy with Kim-Joy

You may know Kim-Joy  from The Great British Baking Show (U.S. title) or maybe from her fun bake books. At Comic-Con, we also know her for her graphic novel Turtle Bread. Thursday night at SDCC 2025, Kim-Joy and I sat down at her booth to catch our breath from a whirlwind day and to talk about her upcoming book, Ordinary Joy (pre-order here). A guide to learning to be yourself and more importantly be comfortable with yourself, Ordinary Joy arrives in bookshops in September.

While you’re at a bookshop you might want to pick up Kim-Joy’s baking books — because they’re awesome.
