Comic-Con isn’t just in the Gaslamp District anymore. For a few years now, the year round Comic-Con Museum has become a rock for fans all around the world. Though this year the main attraction has been Doctor Who: Worlds of Wonder (and it is pretty cool), the current upstairs exhibit feels a little earthier but no less inspirational.
Sangre, Sudo, y Mito explores the art and tradition of Mexican Lucha Libre. The exhibit covers comics, toys, movies, and of course the men and women who have made the sport what it is. Though the WWE has certainly tried, nothing comes close to the worlds of wonder that lucha libre inspires.
Underlying music: Spanish Metal – Luchador, composed by Robert Russell.
