 
There are worse fates. Because really, you can always just turn the corner.
Every October, Burbank neighborhoods get scary. Some houses add giant spiders and skeletons. Of course there are pumpkin patches. But on North Ontario St., just off the section of Magnolia Blvd. the Los Angeles Times calls “the Horror Mile,” one house utterly transforms. Transcends, if you will.
It sloughs off the façade of suburbia and becomes… the Burbank Clown House. Which is kind of a misnomer because it isn’t just a house. This catastrophic carnivale extends into the alleyway and seems to have absorbed a couple of neighbors. At least, neighbors’ fences.
Traffic jams, no joke. Luckily, this section of town is pedestrian friendly. Though not all who wander make it back…
