Civil War and Ant-Man Offered As DLC For LEGO Marvel’s Avengers — For Playstation

Already looking like a great game (let’s face it — the LEGO superhero games have all been good),  LEGO Marvel’s Avengers now folds Captain America: Civil War and Ant-Man into the mix. It doesn’t look like these Playstation-exclusive extras will contain spoilers. Civil War looks to just be some fun playable characters, and you have time to see Ant-Man if you haven’t already, and the pack may hit at just the right time for you to need a little more playability. The press release does say for a limited time, but it’s unclear if that means limited time as an exclusive or if eventually these packs will go away. The game hasn’t even come out yet and they’re already putting the pressure on!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced that LEGO Marvel’s Avengers will offer upcoming DLC packs based on the Marvel Studios films Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War and Marvel’s Ant-Man, available as a FREE download exclusively for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 players for a limited time.*

The addition of these packs further bolster the blockbuster content in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, which will now feature storylines and characters from eight films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as classic Avengers content from Marvel Comics. Each pack will include the following content:

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War Character Pack: Heroes once united now find themselves divided! This pack features nine playable characters starring in the action-packed theatrical blockbuster and will be available at launch.

Marvel’s Ant-Man Character & Level Pack: Utilizing the ability to shrink in size but increase in strength, Ant-Man stars alongside nine other memorable characters and a level pack from the theatrical blockbuster and will be available this spring.
