Set in the all-night dreamland that can be the city of San Jose, Drive All Night captivated virtual audiences at Cinequest 2021. I talked with writer/director Peter Hsieh then, and last week he let me know that it’s coming to VOD in June. But first, he’ll host two screenings — Wednesday, May 18 at the Landmark Westwood at 7 pm, and then Wednesday, May 25 at the Roxie in San Francisco at 6:30 pm. Oh, and I’ll actually be hosting that one and conducting a Q & A session with Peter afterward. We grabbed a few minutes today to talk about the events, and what it’s going to feel like finally seeing Drive All Night on a big screen.
