Matinee Heroes Claws The Wolverine

Matinee Heroes Claws the Wolverine

Just weeks after sitting behind Hugh Jackman at a performance of Once Upon a Mattress, I joined the Matinee Heroes podcast to talk about the now 3rd best onscreen Wolverine appearance, The Wolverine. It’s always a blast talking with cohosts Craig Price and Elisabeth Rappe (though it was also fun with Alan Cerny), and talking comics? PLEASE.

Here’s how Craig describes the episode:

Drawn back to a Japan he hasn’t seen since World War II, Wolverine enters a dangerous world of yakuza intrigue and samurai honor. Escorting a powerful industrialist’s daughter, he faces relentless enemies and a profound challenge: the possibility of his own mortality. Pushed to his limits, he must confront his haunted past and rediscover the hero within while battling foes that test him like never before.

Craig, Elisabeth and Derek McCaw end Rappe-uary talking about Elisabeth’s lifelong love of  Wolverine, how many frenum it takes to join the X-Men, surviving atomic bombs and the movie “The Wolverine” on this week’s Matinee Heroes.
