Today on Kickstarter, you have the chance to return to Wicked Town, one of the best comic creator debuts I’ve seen. Granted, I knew writer Francis Stokes was a great filmmaker. Artist Andrea Dailey shared a little preview art with me two WonderCons ago and it blew me away. Since then, I’ve actually read the complete first issue more than twice — which for me is high praise.
Now is the time. Back this second issue. As Francis comments in the promo video, now that the atmosphere and the plot has been set in motion, it only gets faster paced! Why I had to run this video, though, was because I suddenly see the possibilities in animation… and I’m chuffed to say I knew them when. I’m hoping we’ll see them next week at Comic-Con so I can gush more in person.
