This year’s “Season of the Force” at Disneyland featured a lot of a galaxy far far away taking over the Magic Kingdom. Photo opps, too tall Ewoks, and green lightsaber churros were among the many delights.

The greatest, however, is a twice-nightly performance of the best cantina band around. Perhaps the only musicians who play their particular genre of music that I shall not name here but Drew Campbell knows perfectly well what it is, it’s Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes hijacking one of Mike Fink’s Keel Boats on the Rivers of America. Take that, Mickey! Step back, Maleficent! A real musical extravaganza is floating by…
