The Falcon and the Snow Serpent

The Falcon and the Snow Serpent

When Lon Lopez told me his latest Action Figure Action Movie would take place in the snow, I jokingly asked if that meant it was just going to be an all-white screen while we heard fighting. Clearly, he hadn’t read that infamous issue of Alpha Flight called “Snowblind.” Instead, true to form for these fun shorts, it’s another step up in effects and complexity.

G.I. Joe: The Falcon and the Snow Serpent features a lot of snow, but mostly action. And for good or ill, Lon asked me to voice General Hawk. For an old soldier like me who played with the original 12″ figures as a kid, it’s fun for him to give me my next assignment in his animated universe. And technically, this means I’ve been in a movie with Sgt. Slaughter, right? Right?

Please check out Lon’s other Action Figure Action Movies (including another G.I. Joe Classified short), and subscribe to his YouTube channel. When last we talked about it, he promised he was going to get back to his main epic.
