The Writers Block Goes Fanboy

The Writers Block Goes Fanboy

While Writers Block hosts David Avallone and Rylend Grant have both been featured on Fanboy Planet, I’d never been on their podcast. Until last week, when David reached out and asked Bearded Comic Bro and me to join these two eminent writers to talk about comics journalism. It was a great conversation, and great to meet Greg, the Bearded Comic Bro. Between the two of us, you almost span the history of comics commentary on the internet — I started in 2000 with Daily Radar, and Greg started during the pandemic.

It’s always fun to talk with David and Rylend, and I hope we find an excuse to do it again soon. In the meantime, take Greg’s recommendation (as I did) and give Where Monsters Lie a shot.
