WonderCon 2008: Behind Harold And Kumar

Fanboy Planet

Back in 2008, writer/director Jon Hurwitz, writer/director Hayden Schlossberg, and actor John Cho sat down at WonderCon to talk about the then-upcoming Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. As great as that movie is, they’ve all gone on to bigger and better things. As of 2022, you know Hurwitz and Schlossberg as two of the masterminds behind the phenomenal Cobra Kai, and in addition to recreating the role of Sulu for J. J. Abrams’ Star Trek run (among other things), Cho recently starred in Cowboy Bebop.

Looking through the archives I realized this interview hadn’t made it over to the current site, and wasn’t on the YouTube channel. So now, with the help of original video editor Lon Lopez, it’s been ported over and you can join us in the wayback machine.
