Earlier this week, we covered the not unexpected announcement of Injustice 2, the sequel to the DC superhero-based combat game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Among its new features are changing armor and battle abilities based on wins and losses, and I’m still going with the idea that the game story is off to the left of the original. The announcement trailer showed that Supergirl had joined the cast, and today, we get a video showing off gameplay that teases three more new characters: Atrocitus (leader of the Red Lanterns), Gorilla Grodd, and Black Manta.
The combat looks similar, but the character design has changed a bit — hence my belief it’s yet another alternate world. It may be worth getting that next gen console…
