Over the past year, I became a big fan of the World of Professor Dario Bava. A series of graphic novels written by filmmaker Phil Mucci in collaboration with artist Mike Dubisch and actor Ian McKay, they’re wacky and scary with a subtle touch of satire. So when Phil and I talked a few months ago to promote their Kickstarter, I asked if they had a panel going at L.A. Comic Con. At the time, no. But I reached out to L.A. Comic Con to see if such a thing could happen.
And so… Saturday, December 2 at 11 am in Room 405, I’ll be hosting a panel with Shannon Eric Denton of Monster Forge Productions where we get to talk about how great this stuff is. Or really, we’ll let Phil, Mike, and Ian talk about it. Join us for the fun!
They created the above flyer as well as a sweet poster that I’m only previewing a piece of on this page. Check them out at ProfessorDarioBava.com, and check us out at L.A. Comic Con! If you don’t already have tickets for this event running December 1-3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, get them here!
