It’s not that I’m a huge One Piece fan. I’ve even walked up to fans at cons and asked, “what is it that you love so much?” Never read the manga, watched one episode of the anime, and then… the character actors showing up on the Netflix series made me give it a try.
The world has been difficult, shall we say, and One Piece provided a balm I needed. Even in a world of pirates, friendship, kindness, and forgiveness matter. Plus there’s a clown pirate that can survive dismemberment.
Combine that with Universal Studios always delivering a terrific stunt show. One Piece makes a natural fit. And the studio sent so much concept art! By all means, check out everything else at Fanfest Nights, but do not miss the One Piece Grand Pirate Show!
