Make-up legend Rick Baker absolutely owns Halloween this year — especially if you’re a fan of DC Comics cosplay. The Academy-award winning artist tweeted three amazing works today. First, helping his daughter Veronica Baker, who works at DC as an executive assistant in digital marketing, with her costume for the day. We’d say recreating Brian Bolland’s vision of The Joker from The Killing Joke should win:
This is how my daughter @veronicabaker went to work today @DCComics. Happy Halloween! pic.twitter.com/jzNX0JWHMB

Then later this afternoon, Baker tweeted out the following:
My wife and I are going to a party tonight like this. @DCComics @GregCapullo #new52 pic.twitter.com/EfFXX6vixL — Rick Baker (@TheRickBaker) October 31, 2015
Batman writer Scott Snyder tweeted confirmation that Baker had indeed shown up at the DC Comics Halloween party dressed as co-creator Greg Capullo’s take on The Joker:
Guys. This is Academy Award winning SFX wizard Rick Baker dressed as our joker for Halloween… #geekingthefout pic.twitter.com/B36QWdmEzs

Baker announced his retirement from movies this year because he felt that CG had taken away the need for him to do anything in film. Would somebody revive in-camera work please? This man is amazing.
Happy Halloween!
