Shanghai Disneyland:
Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue

Thanks to YouTuber Matthew Eberle, we have a look at another attraction in Shanghai Disneyland, officially opening June 16, 2016. This time, it’s in Tomorrowland, with the Shanghai analog to Anaheim’s Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. This version offers the same mechanics, but is literally more of a dark ride. Where the story of Astro Blasters seems acutely aware of itself as playing with a bunch of toys (the little aliens promise they will return Zurg to the store as defective), this one seems more in line with the animated seriesĀ Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

Enjoy, and keep saving up for that trip to Shanghai.
